Alot of money for a Catalina, but then again full sizes are appreciating in value.

18k for a freshly painted 455 4 speed car? A good place to start. I'd try to whittle him down to 15k at least. But even at 18k, if its an original 4 speed 455, NP.

I don't know about increase. Depends on the way it's been built. If it's stock-ish it probably neither helps nor hurts the value.
